Tattoo No 1

For me it was clear that I would get at least one tattoo while I`m in the US.

Since I´m experiencing so much in this time I wanted something that would remember me of this time forever. I needed something that would stand for the places I travelled to and the people I met along the way. Something that reminds me that you need to get out there and explore the wonderful planet we live on and that we need to protect. I looked for inspiration on pinterest but wanted something special. I knew that a tattoo of planet earth would be obvious but also so ideal and then I remembered that a good and so talented friend of mine (Andrea Barrigon Corres on redbubble.com) is an artist and I told her about my idea and asked if she thinks she could make a design for a tattoo out of it.

And there we go! She made it, I liked it and together with a friend we made an appointment for the tattoo studio. We decided to go to the studio empire ink and were completely happy with our choice. They have different locations in Florida and the people in the one we went to were really friendly and our artist took his time for both of us and did a great job.

It was my first tattoo therefore I didn´t know before how much it would hurt but the pain was absolutely acceptable. You definitely feel it but it´s fine since it is not a constant pain but with little breaks. I will probably get another one while I´m here in America...let´s see when and what it will be!
